How Stuff Works::Learn how Everything Works!

The other night while social networking with a pretty educated group I found out that lots of professionals are using How Stuff Works!

The site explores just 'how things' work. This site should be bookmarked by educators especially, as they move from being a 'sage on the stage' to 'facilitators of knowledge.'

Yahoo! Mindset

Check out Yahoo! Mindset as a Beta Search Engine. It has some very unique features, such as sorting information into commercial and non-commercial categories. You can move the slider bar on the top of the page to get results from sites that are more research based or more commerical sites based on your preference.

Also each result from your search has a little blue and orange bar underneath that shows that Mindset has determined the page to be commerical (blue bar on the left) or informational (orange bar on the right).

It is neat for a Beta version and Yahoo wants help in improving and developing it, so give them feedback.
